What We Do ?

For waste recycling innovation, FIRE look at ways to optimise paper waste by recycling and turning it into different products that can be reused in applications where plastics are conventionally used and sell it to relevant end users. FIRE has come up with creative solution replacing plastic or expensive metal fan blade with a strong composite (cardboard paper + epoxy). The cardboard acts as traditional finer element in the composite and the eco-epoxy material as the matrix. FIRE has also come up with solution to adopt existing solar cell technology and apply it in another useful product to ease users’ life style. See more under “Products” section.

Right now we can say or predict that the world doesn’t need more new products ending up in waste after use but rather needs educating people and coming up with better solutions to the existing problems to tackle waste recycling and management because the ratio of innovative products developed annually versus problems in the world to be solved is not at the same level, problems such as pollution, climate change, diseases and so on.

Goals

Therefore, the mission for FIRE is looking and finding ways to solve some of the problems faced around waste. This is why FIRE is keen to focus and look at solving global problems or adopt new solutions to existing problem by looking at areas where existing innovation and technology can be implemented and applied to solve problems in other areas, and optimise and make products efficient in the process.
